The Greater Elgin Area YMCA is a community of members, open to all who seek a healthy spirit, mind, and body. We are dedicated through our core values of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility, to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Our After School Achievement Academy is a merit-based program for children in grades K-6 that teaches values, develops character, enriches academic skills, provides homework assistance, and fosters personal growth. Our values based programming extends also to our Summer Day Camp and Youth SuperSports activities.
